If you guys remember I had asked about USCG documentation a few weeks ago. I had heard tales of many months of paper work and angry people. When I contacted the CG everyone that I talked with was very helpful and informative. I sent in my paper work and a check and in about three weeks I got my documentation. Maybe the work load is light because of the economy or the time of year but it was a simple and easy procedure. Just thought I’d drop in an update.
I also saw that Mike Bogie’s boat( Mikey Likes It ) has been sold. I saw it in the yard with the engine sitting on the ground beside it. I will see if I can find out who got it and there may be parts there for some folks. I’m not sure what kind of engine he had but I will tell the yard that they may want to let the owner know about the 424 site to dispose of parts.
Thought I was checking things off the list now all the stanchion bases are leaking and my mainsail cover is torn. And so it goes.Linus

Guys-
I used stick on big, bold black vinyl letters and then used epoxy over them.. You can put them anywhere on the hull behind a cabinet, etc.

That is what 95% of the boats coming through the yard have, usually high up
in the cabinet so still visible above the mounds of earthly possessions
jammed into every available void on the boat.On Thu, Feb 11, 2010 at 12:55 PM, Rodd Leeds wrote:
