Fridge Temp (& control) – the current thermostat is pretty rough.

When we installed Isotherm refrig and freezer, we also installed Corel digital thermostat controls. See rparts.com. They were a bit spendy, but are much more accurate and precise than the mechanical controls. Its possible to measure both box air temperature and evaporator temperature, and exactly set temperature and differential, the point at which the compressor starts up.
Recently I saw similar digital temperature controllers on amazon, 12 volt, for about $20.

Thanks for the link. In the long run this would be the quickest solution.
Currently the mechanical unit is set with a “do not touch” notice as I am trying to keep a balance between a cold beer and a flat battery!
