While you were lounging on top of your engine stretching a 5 minute job into 6 hours, I was up at the other end of Silver Heels crammed into the what I have dubbed “the forepit,” drilling some awkward (as in deep and angled) holes for the PVC conduit that will bring in the new windlass' cables & wires on one side, and the deck washdown pump's intake water hose on the other. Here are a few photos showing the removable divider boards and the conduit pipe installation-in-progress. Oh, how I dream of just layin' around on the engine all day like some yachtsmen I know.
