Thanks for your input, Rich. I expect we’ll find we’re burning about 1 gallon/hour at 6.5 knots in calm/moderate seas. Most boats/engines of this size/type come in around there. I was just curious whether anyone had hard numbers. No big deal. It is what it is.
In any case, we’re all likely to be a little slower to fire up the “iron jenny” in light airs now, with fuel prices so high. Maybe that’s a good thing.
