Take a look at:
https://www.pearson424.org/bb2forum/index.php
Click on Mail List link

You will see a mirror of this list. In other words, every email we send
will be posted online. Should someone prefer that format – they could
post in the forum instead of through and it would flow through to the
mail list as well. It will also be a fast way to see what’s going on if
you happen to be someplace away from your email.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum: An *Internet forum*
is a web application for holding discussions and posting user generated
content. Internet forums are also commonly referred to as *Web forums*,
*message boards*, *discussion boards*, *(electronic) discussion groups*,
*discussion forums*, *bulletin boards*, /*fora*/ (the Latin
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin> plural) or simply *forums*. The
terms “forum” and “board” may refer to the entire community or to a
specific sub-forum dealing with a distinct topic. Messages within these
sub-forums are then displayed either in chronological order
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronological_order> or as threaded
discussions <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threaded_discussion>.

I don’t believe (at this point) that anything additional will happen in
the forum. You don’t need to ever look at the forum if you prefer email.

Pat,

I’m not a big time surfer/messenger/blogger; not up to date on the terminology. What is the definition of a “forum” in
the sense that you’re using the term? What will happen there that doesn’t happen in the ordinary mail list we’ve been
using?

Thanks,

Tor
