After few other lessons learned:
Even though I am used to downhill skiing all winter, I couldn’t believe how
cold that first night leaving NE in the fall can be, even though I was
wearing two pairs of long underwear, ski gloves and hat.
The mast pulpits the group purchased are great, They make going forward any
time of day much more comfortable.
If a little bird lands in the cockpit, looking starved, DO NOT feed it
unless:
a) you don’t mind having bird poop everywhere, including on your sleeping
bags and pillows
b) once “a)” happens, you are able to kill it. As it was a split vote on
this issue, Jack The Sparrow survived until Bermuda.
