Thanks for the reply. My checkbook says that this is an expensive solution. The gauge alone runs $240. I was thinking of a more cost effective gauge. A simple sight-tube is all you need, but it would be difficult to mount. You can get mechanical fuel gauges similar to what the 424 has for about $30 ea. I don’t know what would happen to them if you used them in a water tank however.
Here’s one with a remote gauge for $40.
