Anyone have a Westerbeke engine with the water flow reversal kit installed? Basically reverses the exhaust manifold so that coolant comes into the rear of the engine (bow end) to avoid hot spots in the manifold during pitching of the boat. We have one on our engine, and after replacing coolant, we seem to have had air bubbles or voids that kept coolant from flowing to the HX (from the front end of the manifold, which is tilted higher than the rear). I think I fixed the issue by lifting and lowering the coolant hose while filling the manifold from the cap over and over and over. Anyone else have this setup, and deal with overheating issues after coolant replacement?

      Thanks!
      Scott
