Quick..easy..and harmless!
Question one!
Anyone looking to part ways with their windvane autopilot? If so I know a certain gentleman looking for one (myself)
Question two!
Trim tab wins it for me..I know all of the monitor die hard fans are out there but auxiliary rudder and lack of lines in the cockpit have won me over. With that said, hydrovane and monitors “auto helm” are similar products..does anyone have a preference?

Wish I could answer your questions, but we’re looking at the same two models ourselves.
We have a hard top on Revery and davits, so Tor Pinney’s setup of the Auto-Helm would work best for us. BUT…the davits might go away and I think the Hydrovane would work even with our hard top. So it’s all up in the air still (pun intended).
I’ll be watching this thread with interest.Also, I completely missed that you purchased Findriddy.If I may, I’ll be contacting you off list to ask some questions in order to update the owner’s database.
