Awhile back, there was a brief discussion on the best way to remove the foam backed hull liner. I have found a simple way to remove this stuff – a Fine Multimaster.

I originally bought this tool because of its ability to make very accurate and delicate cuts in hard – to – reach places on the boat. One of the attachments that came with the tool was a scraper which proved to be the perfect tool to remove the foam in the V berth.

The Multimaster is not cheap but it was worth every penny I spent.

I think you mean Fein Multimaster: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fein_Multimaster_RS
      That’s a good idea.

I’ve found that using a real paint scraper and a little heat gun action has worked pretty well. I might give one of those a try too.
