      Guys

I have the old heat exchanger and exhaust manifold from my 79 W60. Does anyone want either part? I am going to scrap it if no one wants them.

I would love to have the heat exchanger! Mine just failed and I had to steal one from an otherwise complete engine.

If you like, I will store the exhaust manifold too. In fact, now that I think about it, the manifold for the water to the water heater is corroded on mine.

Where are you? I’ll ship it to you next week. The parts are in Oriental. I should be down there and can bring them back on Monday. The heat exchanger inspection plate has been heli-coiled and just cleaned. New zincs to.

Save the mounting brackets for the heat exchangers. They might come in handy some day.

The heat exchanger on my W60 bolted directly to the bottom of the exhaust manifold. The oil and tranny cooler had hose clamps holding them. I’m not sure what brackets you’re talking about unless you mean the ones that the hose clamps went through. Maybe I had a funny old engine.

You have two other heat exchangers, one on the transmission and the other is an oil cooler. Both have curved shaped brackets used to mount the heat exchangers. Heat exchangers are easy to come by, but mounting hardware is not.
