On my ever growing “list” one item is considering adding a spinniker to Navasana.
I have never flown a chute and am unsure of where to start with rigging, size and soforth.
      Any advice out there?

I would like to throw another question into the light air sail discussion.
Has anyone added a gennaker / code zero furler to the boat.

      Hi Eric and Paul,

I just recently got my spinnaker. It's an asymmetrical one because no pole is involved and it's 175%. I hope this spring to get a picture of it. Whatever you do, though, make sure you get a sock for it, especially if you sail shorthanded a lot.

Your mast has a tang on top with a loop especially for a spinnaker halyard.

I have the “original” spinnaker that came with PARALLAX when I bought it. I
have no idea how old it is, but it clearly has seen many years and miles,
and it not really asymmetric. I bought a sock for it and fly it without a
pole in light breezes. I single-hand essentially all the time, so it’s a
bit of a production number to rig. To be honest, I don’t use it much, but
every now and then it is useful, especially if I don’t have to gybe very
much. The P.O. had a picture taken of the boat under spinnaker and mizzen
staysail only, that looks way cool, but is completely unrealistic for the
      waters in which I cruise.
