I had ordered two Sherwood R30G water pumps for the generator/scuba
compressor I am building (and since I know you will ask, here is a
picture of the work-in-progress, 200AMP alternator, Coltri scuba
compressor {I unload the alternator by dropping the field current when
the compressor is engaged, by using an Ample Power regulator that has an
input for such things) the engine is a Kubota 6HP diesel that I got
surplus, stripped down, and marinized)…

So, as I was starting to say… I ordered two pumps through a
clearance. I worked with one and left the spare in the box. Well, I
recently opened the spare pump box and found an R50G instead of an R30G
in the box. Brand new, more expensive, but of no use to me…and no
ability to exchange it for the right pump. Before I go out and
advertise this on E-bay, could any of you use this? I would love to
swap it for a new, less expensive R30G (not an R30G-1).
