Check out this website. They do a model by model price survey so you
can find the best price on the panel you want:http://www.ecobusinesslinks.com/solar_panels.htm

Thanks, Pete. That’s a terrific resource, although it appears the pricing is mostly tailored to large quantity minimum orders.
I understand why panels are always rated in watts, but that doesn’t help me much up front. Sometimes I feel like the only shopper who needs panels of certain dimensions, rather than of a certain wattage. The web sites always make me dig for that size info – and then leave it to me to convert millimeters to inches, only to find the darn thing will never fit the space I have.

I found that their min qty info is not always correct. For example,
check out the prices here where there are pallet prices but also great
prices for a minimum of two panels:
http://sunelec.com/And yes it would be great to have a chart that is sized based. (Sanyo
now has triangular panels too, which though expensive, are pretty neat
for filling available space (though I am not sure about their utility on
a boat).Pete
