john stevensonParticipantBob & Tor (and anyone else who is interested)
The version of the application to generate the Nautical Almanac Day Pages in the download zip file I provided has a serious bug. I didn't allow enough print lines for the addition of the v and d corrections. If you attempt to print more than 3 days of Almanac data you will get a format error message that must be responded to every 4th day. The attached workbook corrects that problem. The rest of the files in the download zip file are unaffected.
I haven't had a chance to update the download file, and probably won't for awhile. So if you download that zip, just replace the OffShoreNavigationVBA workbook in the zip file with this one. This is version 9.52a rather than 9.52.

John,
I haven’t downloaded that program yet – been tied up with the boat show in Annapolis, and now visiting up north. Will download it soon, though, and will apply the correction you sent. Thank you!

john stevensonParticipantTor,
Wait a little longer to download. Now I've found some problems in the Sun ephemeris. I programmed that a number of years ago, and I'm sure it was +- 0.1' of the NA. Now I've discovered it is more like +-0.5'. I must have changed something programming the other ephemerides and never noticed the Sun values were off. I've got to trace back through a lot of code to find the problem. This may take awhile. I'll let you know when it is save to download.John

john stevensonParticipantSafe to download now at http://www.svsarah.com/Sailing/ewTechniqueExcelNavigation.htm. Results are back to within +/- 0.1' of the NA.
It's been raining here for two days so I had a lot of time to fix the code. Looks like it will keep raining into Saturday so no major boat projects this week. I may have to go back and finish editing the videos from last winter in the Bahamas to fill the time.

Thanks, John. I’ll play with it ASAP. Right now I’m having way too much fun getting beat up by wild grandchild munchkins.
