Anyone have an idea on where to find an extra one of those recessed
panels (boxes) that holds the start and glow buttons?

(SSi sells a huge one, I just want one of the small ones)

      Thanks,

      Pete

Oh, you mean the plastic or fiberglass recess thing the engine panel is
mounted to? You may have to make one custom. You can do it in fiberglass
fairly easily by making a mold and stuff. Making the mold: 1 day. Forming
the glass: 1 day. If you haven’t used a release and gel coat on the mold,
gel coating, 1 day. Finishing and installing: 1 day. Actually, it will
only take a fraction of the day for the work, the rest of the time is
      waiting.

      Otherwise, I have no idea.

As I recall, that recess was originally used for the engine shut-off pull cable handle. There were no buttons or switches there. The engine key and glow-plug button were under the starboard lazarette cover. I would guess everyone’s relocated the stuff by now. I suggest doing a web-search for pull-cables. Someone probably still stocks the thing.
