Very soon i will have a Westerbeke 58 for sale or trade. Transmission is bad and it will not be with the engine. The engine was running fine, no smoke and didnt use oil. this will be a complete repower so all the extras will go with it. The raw water pump was just rebuilt and has an extra impellor. the engine is in Jacksonville Fl. if anyone is interested please contact me off the list. harmstrong@nrgbilling.com. I would like to swap of a Rocna 25/ does this seem like the proper size for our boats?
      Thanks

The velvet drive is a very reliable transmission and can usually be rebuilt for short money. Why replace it?

25 lbs seems rather light for a 25000 lb boat.

Good anchor, and that weight should be fine. Have you had any difficulty in mounting it? I had my eye on one, but couldnt see how to fit with the standard bow set up.

PS we must just be around the corner from each other….
