      Hi group.

The Point Judith Yacht Club is agreeable to our having a cookout there on Saturday.

It appears we will have five or six boats, depending on whether Thatcher comes by land or by sea, and 10 or 11 people plus however many will be on Black Sheep.

Since there were three boats planning to arrive on Friday, Dolores and I will plan on doing the same. Rich, since you indicated that you might arrive as early as Thursday If you can call me the day before and give me an ETA, Dolores and I will plan to be there. If you wish you can come to the head of the pond and raft to us. By then you will probably be ready for water, ice and shopping etc. and we can help you take care of that.

The attachment summarizes the location that I think we have agreed on as well as other information from the various responses. If anyone wants to make additions or corrections give me the information and I will update and send it out again.

      Phil

I hope to arrive on Friday and leave Sunday. If that helps anyone.

      Regards,

Thanks for the attachment. The information will be very useful. At this point, it will be just my wife Linda and I. I’ll be coming down alone but Linda will drive down and meet me for the weekend. Would it be possible for her to park at your yacht club? We’re members of Jubilee Yacht Club in Beverly, Mass if reciprocal privileges are offered. We might have another couple visit with us as well, but it would be only one car. If parking at the club doesn’t work, is there another convenient place to park? Also, can I bring the dinghy in somewhere to pick her up?

I’d be most comfortable heading straight for the anchorage, but I’d enjoy a beverage with you on Thurs assuming I get down there early. I hate to cruise to a schedule so my arrival date is uncertain. I’ll give you a call on your cellphone the day before and when I arrive. I’ll probably need a bag of ice, but I should be all set for supplies.

      Regards
      Rich

      Hi Rich,
Parking won’t be a problem. If for some reason the club lot is full that
weekend (highly doubtful) there is free public parking for up to 72 hours
almost across the street from the club.

You will be able to land your dinghy either at the outer end of the club’s
main dock, or at the dinghy dock near the head of the main dock. I’ll go in
with you to show the way.

Look forwartd to seeing both you and Linda soon.
      Phil
