I’m having a hard time finding replacement anchor rollers. It appears to
require rollers with 3″ diameter, 3″ length, and a 3/4″ axle hole. Has
anyone found replacements like this? If so, where? Thanks,
Tor

Good idea, Eric. Sorry to report I find no replacement rollers in their
online catalog and they’re not answering their phone today. I sent an
email; maybe I’ll learn something Monday, but because it’s not in the
catalog I’m not counting on them.Next? Hasn’t anyone actually replace these after 30 years?

The factory installed bow roller assembly on Clairebuoyant (1981) uses what appear to be standard bow trailer rollers available at most marine stores. However, the axle diameter is 1/2″ Perhaps you could drill it out to fit.
On a similar topic, we solved our problem of getting the 60# Manson to come up over the roller by installing double rollers on pivots made of 1 1/2″ wide, 1/8″ thick stainless 6″ long. Works real well getting the anchor up.

Thanks, Quent. Drilling out a new roller to fit my 3/4″ axle sleeve is
my fallback, but that’ll leave less roller material in the spool. I’m
just wondering whether there are any made to order, maybe a bit beefier
to accommodate the larger axle. Most of the 1/2″ axle rollers I see seem
a bit puny overall.I’ve been rolling a 66-lb Manta anchor (the West Marine brand Bruce
knock-off), on the existing single roller. Works all right.Tor
