Rich, check out this website eMarinesystems–many fixed systems avail- I will send you details of my installation tomorrow- the Kyocera brand is a good quality product.I purchased the Kyocera 135w ,dimensions 59.1 in by 26.3 in by 1.42 deep,it fit well in the custom davits welded off my radar arch-price keeps coming down.A solar controller improves the effiency- Blue sky 2000E -12v-25a 350w -also I purchased a Blue sky remote-mounted at the nav station- IPN remote reads out solar panel charge voltage status. At the time purchasing the 2 separate units was cheaper then an all inclusive unit-this may have changed.Look also at mounting kits under rail mounting kits on the web site– cross kit Kyocera KCM-for the 135 or 140 w single rail kit.I attached a 1 inch SS bar to the rail kit underneath the panel on the center line, and attached that with U bolts to the davits. It can rotate ,however, sailing offshore I ran a line front to back to prevent rotation in
heavy seas.
The installation is pretty staight forward-add fuses in between solar panel, controller, and batteries.Pics tomorrow.
