That’s the stuff or the 9/16″ stuff. I used the 1/2″ which seems to work
quite well.

Someone on this forum once wrote that gasket material is 7/16″, but I
haven’t seen that anywhere online so far. Mine seems to measure 1/2″ and
that’s what West Marine sells.

What about the correct gasket material for the original opening ports? One day I guess I will join the club and go for the New Found Metals ports but the list of more urgent matters is way too long for now.
