      Hello everyone,
With the help of everyone that sent replies and telephoned, I was able to
zero in on my overheating problem. It was the V drive upper chamber was so
clogged with metal fragments that the water flow was just trickling
through. After following the problem from the engine forward, I hooked up
a pump to the intake hose on the V drive, then took off the top plate to
find it full of fragments. I cleaned it all up, made a new gasket and
great water flow coming out the exhaust.

      Thanks everyone

      Jack-
Keep an eye on the oil quality in the v-drive. Those fragments come from the part of the case that keeps the cooling water out of the oil!
