That boat used to tie up a Zahniser’s in Solomons, MD each summer back in
the late 70s. It was school back then. Like most Generals back in the 20s
and 30s, Patton married money. I assume his wife paid for it. They used
to stay at the Waldorf-Astoria in NYC when he was home on leave.Regards,
