      All,

Well, the papers are signed and the funds are wired. I am now the owner of hull #19, currently named ‘Bead Game’, in Mendon, MA, soon to be relocated to either Mattapoisett or Newport, RI.

Wish me luck, call me crazy, but I have a lot of work ahead of me to bring her back to cruise-worthiness. I look forward to being an active and contributing member of this board!Advice and suggestions welcomed!

      Ewan,

These boats are great fun to own, renovate and cruise, and this forum is a terrific resource. Welcome to it!

Congratulations Ewan. Tons of info and advise here that’s for sure. I’ve
had a little trouble using the search department (technical dysfunction on
my part no doubt) on my own, but someone is always willing to direct you to
the most common threads on a particular subject. Sometimes the subjects can
go … a wondering, but’s that’s just some of the fun here. Welcome and
      good luck.

      Congrats, Ewan!

The repairs won’t be as hard as you think, just use a lot of biaxial cloth
      and epoxy!
