This is a London based company, but the work is entirely remote. It is
Java server-side development of a platform that ingests 3rd party yacht
data and provides the search API for the front end. We use AWS with
RedHat instances. Someone who knows tomcat and apache would be great,
but anyone who could learn those would be fine as well. Effective Java
development is the key. We don’t need a super-experienced guy, but
someone eager who wants to learn and get things done. We use git for
source control and python for scripting. Knowledge of those would be
nice. I know they would entertain either full-time or part-time
contracting. Rate would depend on experience.
