Hi All,
I have a used BW Velvet drive I picked up cheap and want to test it out.  First question, anyone know how to do this without just disassembling the unit?
I read a recommendation online that you could test one by connecting a power source to the input shaft of the transmission to see if the output spins, etc. However to do that I need to fit something over the input shaft which I understand could be rigged up with an old damper plate.
So anyone have a used or broken damper they can off?
ThanksSkip

,Skip,
Unfortunately both my old damper plates went into the dumpster years ago.
You might check with a VD dealer in your area to see how much it would cost
for them to check it out.Regards,
