If you are coming from North or Northeast of New London, take these
directions. If coming from W or NW of Bridgeport, try the Bridgeport Ferry.
Trouble with Bridgeport is Port Jeff destination is not as close to E
Hampton.
Coming down from New England the best way is the New London Ferry to
Orient Point. Then drive west on the north fork of long island
to Riverhead. Head South, then East on Route 27 all the out the
south fork to East Hampton. Note that while the marina is in East Hampton,
we are several miles north of route 27 which goes through the main drag of
East Hampton. Go through the village of EH and keep left at
the end of the village. When you pass the movie theater on the right get
ready to bear left just before the windmill and turn onto North Main Street.
Cross under the RR Bridge. Continue until the road splits and stay to the
left–where there is a sign indicating Three Mile Harbor Road. Take this
road up several miles to the head of the harbor. Then start looking for
signs for East Ha,pton Point. Our marina, Maidstone HArbor, is immediatelyl
north of EHP. There is an in driveway for EHP then an out driveway and then
the entrance to Maidstone Harbor Marina. The restaurant for our marina is
called Harbor Bistro and is visible from the road. Pull into the parking
lot and you’re there. All you need to do then is call for a pick up from
the raft group.
