ParticipantI’m on the way to my boat boat and wonder if someone who is on theirs would give the measurements of the aft cabin Pullman berth mattress. My boat is a ketch with the u- shaped galley and 2 companionways.
Thanks -

Thank you for the information. I am planning on making a fitted matress cover to take with me back down to the boat. I’ve never done that before but I do have a sewing maching and I have made hatch covers and motor covers, etc. (things you really can’t screw up) so I thought I would try matress covers. I have 4 days. Next I may do fitted sheets for the V-berth and the aft cabin. If anyone has any experience doing this, I can sure use any advice.
Thanks,

ModeratorI made fitted sheets for the V berth. It required 2 flat king size
sheets. If I recall correctly the bottom ( forward) was 22 in wide and
the front ( aft) of the bed was 81 inches. My mistake was not making
the fitted part wide enough. They fit perfectly if no one is laying in
the bed – make it 2-3 inches extra + mattress height + 2″ for the (under
fold ) for each side at least so that you don’t run into the same issue. For the aft berth we just use regular full size sheets. They work fine
and I didn’t have to sew them.– pat
