      Hi All,

Way back then there was a large box that housed a very old auto-pilot. Once removed it left a hole between the interior and cockpit.

When we did the cockpit cleanup I closed up the hole however, the hole on the interior panel remained.

I have since made up a replacement panel, much slimmer, that houses the solar controller, BEP DSCM battery monitor, wind generator ammeter and brake switch, and inverter controller.

This of course leaves a few holes on the existing panel, and sorting out the existing panel is a WIP.

      Cheers

      Dennis

Your photo shows a round “thing” aft of the breaker panel. I have an empty hole there and often wondered what was originally mounted there. What is it?

The round hole is a socket for a 12 v connector for use as such things as a portable anchor light connection to 12v.

Probably a stereo speaker.  My PO put one there.  After several years I finally filled it with small breaker panel.

In time to come the large black ‘thing’ – which is a speaker – will be removed.

The panel is overdue for an upgrade. Would like to have a portlight there.

      Cheers
