Chesapeake Rendezvous

On Wednesday Sarah returned to the Chesapeake for the summer. I plan to use
the summer to visit many of the cruising spots I visited back in the 70s and
80s. I would also like to hook up with any P424s on the Bay. I’ll be based
on the Patuxent River and can go North or South.
My only suggestion is if late July or August is the time frame, make the
destination north of Annapolis so we can get away from the heat by jumping
in the water without a gazillion sea nettles.

Welcome back to the Bay, John. We keep Clairebuoyant on Whitehall Creek just north of Annapolis. We will be looking for you.
Be careful about swimming. The water quality is not as good as you remember it. Our family doc knows a guy who scratched his foot on a piling there in Solomons Island, and ended up losing his leg.
