I had a group of friends come in Saturday morning to Charleston and they indicated it was 10+ foot seas – very uncomfortable  but certainly within the range of most boats (Catalina's excepted, of course).  They were in a Vagabond 40 and they were exhausted.

No, I had not heard about the sinking. The weather was not extreme Saturday.
