Does anyone have an original Westerbeke 60 refrigeration compressor mounting bracket or know of a source?

ParticipantYes, I think I do in my shop. I gave away the compressor but I think I kept the bracket thinking I might need one some day.

I had one on my old w60. i repowered but sold the old engine with bracket to someone on the list. It was for a york compressor though which is not as good a unit as the Sanden type compressors. Someone makes a conversion plate however. If you have a chance, convert to the newer style compressor.

ParticipantHi Rich
Have one of those brackets on my W-58 with a York compressor. When that refrigerator system was replaced with a dc system, we found that the bracket worked well to mount a second alternator. Alternator just fits on the bracket you mentioned to mount a sanden compressor.
Having two 100 amp alternators and now agm batteries really speeds up the recharging process when we anchor out. Both are run on one external 3 stage regulator.
