I’m preparing to sail the good ketch Silverheels from George Town, Great Exuma to St. Martin, West Indies, departing April 16th or as soon after as wind and weather permit. If you’d like some blue water experience on a Pearson 424, check out the float plan summary at http://www.silverheels.us/crew.htm and let me know.

      Thanks,

      Tor

      Hey Tor,

Cool beans, I guess your headed down island after all. Hopefully you'll have more wind than I did when I made that trip last year at this time.
I just made plans to have a friend fly down first week of April,  we're headed straight down to Grenada be-bopping along the way with a plan of 1 to 2 weeks travel and a week or 2 playing on Grenada. My thoughts are the earlier I get to Grenada the better chance of finding a decent form of income.
Good luck getting crew, and I damn sure hope to meet you this summer.
      Ken

Taking what comes as I get it, using it all as much as I can and trying hard to leave all the shit behind.

      Ken,

I’m about 50/50 between wanting crew and wanting to single-hand the passage, which in some ways is a lot simpler. I’ll just go with the flow on that.

I ought to reach the Grenadines by the 1st of June and plan to be based in Tyrell Bay, Carriacou. Still, I’ll be getting down to Grenada once in a while to do some waterfalls hiking, so we’ll have opportunities to hook up. Looking forward to it!

      Tor
