      I don’t mean to infringe on Ewan’s investigation into some recent email issues, but I’m curious for myself. Has anyone (besides me) responded to discussion emails during the past few days with a Reply email (as opposed to logging into pearson424.org and posting your response “in person”)? And if you did use email to participate in a discussion, did your Reply automatically get posted into the thread on the website?

      Hi Tor,

      Wish I could answer that but I haven’t gotten any forum emails for weeks. Started to wonder where everyone went so logged into the site only to find business as usual.

      I checked my profile and I am signed up to receive emails but doesn’t seem to be happening.

      Hey Skip,

      Email Ewan at info@pearson424.org and describe the problem you’re having. He’ll fix it or tell you what you need to do.

      Hi Tor,

      Been offline for a while. Finally launched (after six years on the hard) and been busy getting the mast stepped, new Harken installed, final engine details, etc, etc, etc.

      Ewan and I have been going back and forth on the email issue. Problem seems to be with my ISP %$@#$%^$#%!!!! ATT. They are blocking pearson424.org emails and several others that I regularly correspond with and I can’t get anyone at ATT to help. Time to change.

      Ewan,
      I hate to be the bearer of bad news (again), but the mail list functionality is spotty again. It seems like not all Post Topics are coming through. For example, I received everything re: port lights but nothing about salon floor sag; all of…wait! I just noticed what it is. Any topic with 1 post I didn’t get. In other words, when someone creates a topic, I don’t get an email until someone replies to that topic.
      Anyone else notice that?

      The limitation here is that, unless we pop onto the message board, we won’t know that new topics have been created.

      (All that said, I’m not getting mail list notification of ANYTHING going on in Announcements or For Sale).

      Yep – totally aware. So is the engineer.
