Success! my sightglass has a split ring underneath the plexiglass. I removed the split ring and the plexiglass popped right out. I cut a new 1/4″ piece of plexi to a circle using the old piece as a template. With a little finessing the new piece popped right in. I did put some silicone sealant between the top of the plexi and the aluminum fitting. Then I replaced the split ring and –good as new!
I’ll be able to see the fuel gauge again! This project has been on my list for years!!Rodd Leeds
