      Hi Rich,

No worries – I don’t believe there was that much planning for the last one
other than the cookout thing. Having checked the charts, I propose a little
different anchorage, more in towards the cove so that we’re out of the
channel that runs up there, but it’s all a matter of choice. 41 24.78 N 71
      30.05 W – Phillip’s was near a 5′ hump. Since I’m not familiar with the
inside, that’s as good a place as any, and Thatcher, you can check it out,
too, so we’re all on the same page, so to speak.

As far as amusement goes, we all can look at the cruising guide and see if
there’s something we want to see, or we can take an afternoon to explore on
      our own or in groups.

A circular anchorage will allow us to have a cookout aboard with free
movement, sort of, between boats so that there will be plenty of room, and
plenty of people with the potential of getting the odd sailor who falls
overboard out of the drink. Very important.

When we have an idea of how many boats we can decide if there are enough for
a circle or we can do the simple raft. Circle is cool, and I’ll climb my
mast for a piccie or two.

I’m sure we’ve all made changes to our vessels for better or worse but
certainly of interest. I look forward to the whole shindig!

I’m great for instigating this kind of thing but not so good on following
through, particulary when the destination that folks want isn’t my home
turf. Would you please be willing to take the lead and see that things get
setup? All I care about is of course the companionship of my fellow
      424/422
owners and a good place to get together, in that order. I don’t care much
about a fancy shoreside dinner nor even access to the shore though we had a
great time a few years back when Rodd arranged a BBQ at his marina. I’m
happy to provide whatever help you need.

We last discussed a circular mooring arrangement with perhaps a few less
      boats than the photo below.

Let me know the details and I’ll be there.
