Ewan and Pat,
Thank you for that happy introduction, and a very grateful thanks to Pat for your years of keeping this forum going so wonderfully until now.
I only want so say that I rarely visit the website, relying entirely on the email side of the forum to read what everyone is writing and to post my own messages. This is no reflection on the site, which is very fine, but only my own lazy way to follow along and keep in touch. I don’t know if many others mostly limit their connection to emails, too, but for myself I’ll be grateful for the continuation of this side of it regardless of changes at pearson424.org.
Standing by,
Tor

Thanks Pat for all of your work on this over the years and for putting
up with us and computer issues.Welcome Ewan! Thanks in advance for your valor in taking this on. The
archive of documents and email threads is a great reference and making
it more useful to more people is a noble cause.Pete

Thanks Pat, I hope you have a fantastic time sailing without the
responsibility of keeping the rest of us in line.
Welcome Ewan, I certainly second Pete’s comment …”The archive of
documents and email threads is a great reference and making it more useful
to more people is a noble cause”I know when I started out here as a potential owner the website was key to
drawing me in. As time went by, I fell in line with the others and now only
seem to be working from e-mails. I found it tough to single out a subject
on the website in the search feature because it brought up so many threads
to pick through. For the life of me, I don’t know if that can be improved
on with all the information spread out in so many different thread titles.
Maybe I was missing something, I’m no wizz by any means on a computer.I’m excited, that your excited to be taking over the helm. This is a great
group with tons of good info, let’s share it.Ken and Vicky
