Anyone else out there using gmail and on occasion having trouble with
threads on this other email lists?
One of the things I like best about gmail is that it organizes the emails
into lists such that a thread of many emails takes up only one slot in the
inbox. I can also delete all of the emails in a thread with one mouse
      click.
However, on occasions the last email in the thread does not appear when I
open the thread. Doesn’t happen often, but when it does for a specific
thread it persists for that thread. The only way I can see that last email
is to close the gmail tab in Firefox (don’t use IE, so I don’t know if the
same problem exists with that product), then re-open gmail in a new tab.
That will let me see that last email, but I have to do the same thing when
another email for that same thread is received. I also can’t delete the
thread until I go through the process to open the last email as until I do
that the email is unopened will pop back up the next time gmail checks the
      server.

This doesn’t happen that often and it is only a minor issue, but I’m
interested if I’m the only one seeing the problem. This has been going on
for a number of years and updates to both gmail and Firefox so I’m thinking
it is something with my system. Otherwise I would expect the problem to
have been fixed some time ago.

I have this list go to my gmail account but don’t read it there
regularly enough to notice any glitches. Have you considered using
Chrome? Maybe a google product won’t display the same behavior when
being accessed by another google product.
