I've posted a new version of the Inventory workbook on my website, http://www.svsarah.com/Sailing/ewInventory.htm
I turned on the link to the Layout A workbook once more. I've tested it several times and no longer get the errors I was seeing before.

There is now a version number in the title for each form so if you have a problem I'll at least know which version you are using.
There is documentation on the workbook linked from the URL above.

If you have been creating your own inventory database with the previous version of the workbook you will need to copy and paste the contents of the “Inventory” worksheet to the new workbook. Before you do that you will need to insert a column in the “Inventory” worksheet on your current version. I've added a new column in the inventory for an expiration date (e.g., flares, medication, maybe even cans of tuna) so you need to insert a blank column in your data so the columns line up in the workbook. Just insert a column between the “Sub Category” column and the “Date” column in the “Inventory” worksheet. If you have problems, send me your workbook with your current data, and I'll transfer it to the new version, test it and send it back.
If you just want to try out the workbook without having to enter data, just download the Sarah Inventory workbook. I now has nearly 400 items in the database (and that is less than half the lockers). If you have trouble getting the workbook to function please let me know and provide the level of Excel you are using. Unfortunately I only have access to Excel 2003. According to the documentation the macros I've written should be compatibly with versions for Office 2000 and later, but you never know.
