      Hello Everyone!

Well, today we’re expecting up to 3″ of snow, but it’s been pleasant here
for a few days prior. That means sailing season is about to begin and,
well, there was some noise about a get together in Point Judith this July 9
      weekend.

Naturally, I’m still interested or I wouldn’t be pestering everyone and I’m
wondering if you all share the anticipation of the potential event? I know
the last one was terrific and created no shortage of stories. Will this one
be better? We can only hope!

If I get a list of potential participants, I’ll do some research to see if
there’s anything we can do as a group (like a cookout, tour of something or
other, that sort of thing) to amuse ourselves in a questionably legal way.

All the best, and sail on, dudes and dudettes!

      Bob

      Still sounds good to me.

If everyone is agreeable to going up the pond I would suggest an anchorage
      at 41º 24.74 N 71º 30.12 W.

I think I can arrange for a cookout at the Point Judith Yacht Club but would
have to check and confirm. The club is located at
41º 25.69N 71º 29.72 W which is just a little over one NM from the
      anchorage.

From earlier correspondence I have the following skippers with boats:
      Phil Fontaine
      Rich Carter
      Bob Fine
      Rod Leeds
      Thatcher Stone
      Eric Lorentzon

I have the feeling that I may have missed one or two so I would appreciate
it if everyone would confirm and let me know an approximate head count on
each boat. I would like to have an approximate total before checking on the
      club.

I reconfirm. I learned to sail on that pond, a LONG time ago. Can’t wait to
      go back.
