Like Patrick said, we use Petitt and it is great, but do note that it does
eventually crack when applied to the fiberglass. We completed almost every
cubby and locker last year and I applied a new coat to those areas where it
cracked just last week. It is not a hard project but very time consuming
and requires alot of flexibility (like all projects on the boat). We didn’t
paint over any of the vinyl since we removed it all to bare fiberglass.Dawn

ParticipantCan I ask how many quarts of paint did you use for this project? I’ll have to get it through West, which has a very limited inventory here in Honolulu. Ordering takes a couple of weeks and I would very much like to have all the paint I need arriving there the same time as I do.
I spoke with Patrick earlier this year about the possibility of purchasing one of the original long opening ports from you after you replace yours. Do you have one that is still in one piece?
Thanks
