For those few of us that have Nexus instruments:

Nexus has once again changed their US distributor. Nexus is now distributed by Ocean Equipment, 949-588-1470. They sub out their service department to Dick Booth (727-363-6488). He is very knowledgeable and has some spare parts. As an example, he thinks he has a replacement LCD module for my multi instrument.

My Nexus wind instrument took a beating with Irene. It now sticks. He tells me that the bearings go after 10 to 15 years of service. Bearings are replaceable.

      Hi Rich
Had the same problem with my Nexus wind spinner a couple storms ago. Replaced the spinner nose assembly which comes off with four screwa. Turned out that the bearing was ok, but the spinner assembly had screwed itself down tight. Perhaps you might consider taking it apart before you send it out or replace it.
