      Hi All,

I’m in the middle of a delivery to Charleston and who should I spy in
Beautort, NC but One Eighty, Charles and Quentin’s 424. They’ve just
brought the boat from the Great Lakes to the Hudson to Norfolk to here.
      Welcome them!

One Eighty is in terrific shape and I hope Charles sends a picture of what
they or the PO did to the nav station (hint, it’s a big hanging locker
      now).

Anyway, that’s the news for today.

      Bob

Maybe, although I didn’t see the other mods.

I’m not being terse. This is from my mobile.

That is not our boat, however the retrofit is similar. Ours has a double closet without the drawers. Most of my navigation is via laptop on the engine house and the chartploter in the cockpit so I have not missed the nav-sta. Susie uses the entire closet and I am relegated to the hole by the engine. It keeps her happy and on the boat.
I will get some pics out if I figure out how.
Don’t feel sorry for Bob. He is cruising in style and comfort on a mega-Krogan that has it’s own proprietary wi-fi satellite connection. I haven’t found a marina yet with good Internet service.

Check out the Wifi System at IslandTimePC.com
I added it to my boat and can pick up hotspots from all over the place. Of course it’s line of site but now your antenna is high up. Been able to pick up a signal from 4 miles away.
No relation  – just a happy  consumer.

I second the motion. Alan turned me on to IslandTimePC.com a couple of
years ago in the West Indies. I got their antenna and LOVE it. Using it
right now. Awesome range. (I don’t think I ever got 4 miles, but lots
      for sure.) Wifi everywhere!

      Thanks, Alan.
