      Patrick,
Have you installed your new ports yet?
I installed one of the 8 by 20’s in the head yesterday. Surprise…. a small opps…. the port does not open all the way. It opens about 45 degrees and hits the little part of the wall where it jogs around.
      I’ll have a picture later.

I have not installed them yet, I did pick them up last weekend though and they look so beautiful I want to hang them in my condo as art work.

I talked to the guy that owns NFM for quite a while when we picked them up. He’s a great guy and quite the ambitious entrepreneur, he owns the foundry and the land in china where these are made.

How bad was the overlap? Could you slide the window aft a bit?

Patrick, I didn’t discover that until the window was in. Oh Well… but, I don’t think it would have made a difference. I think the window would have to be moved aft at least 1 1/2″ and that would have left a big gap that would need fiberglass and gelcoat work. I didn’t have to remove that much boat for the port to fit ( length wise).
I have to call them tomorrow about the screens. They don’t fit. There seems to be am 1/8 ” gap all around the window. Like there should have been a gasket.
      I’ll keep you posted.
