I use a nicro-press tool to crimp battery wires. Works great and has dual-use. I paid a small fortune for mine a few years back. I think a similar tool is available for a fraction of the price at a homegoods store. I’m not sure I’d bet my life on the quality of the crimps when used for nico-press fittins however but its better than nothing in an emergency.
