I suspect, Pat, that you could have one made at a shop for less money. Not
the end cap, but the slide. The end cap if you didn’t care if it was
      machined or cast. Really.

You may remember I broke the lug off my main boom end cap for the tack of
the sail. I was going to Magruber something, but found I could get one from
      Rig Rite for about $300.

      *D-4 Gooseneck Assembly, Special – Pearson: SP-180PY:*
Special Gooseneck End designed especially for some larger Pearson Yachts,
      is
identical to *SP-180*, above, but with lug for attachment of 5/16″ Tack
shackle. Used with a variety of *Gooseneck
      Toggles<http://www.rigrite.com/Spars/SparParts/Gooseneck_toggles.html>
*, up to 15/16″ wide, that do not incorporate a Tack attachment. Heavy-duty
aluminum casting has black epoxy coating and includes 1/2″ horizontal pin
      and nylon bearing washers.

I was also looking for replacement outhaul sliders for both the main and
      the
mizzen. They didn’t have the mizzen and the main was $399 (yikes!) so I
didn’t order that. These are the two parts I identified. Has anyone else
replaced their outhaul sliders with a more affordable part?
