Time to change out the PSS shaft seal as I’ll be hauled. Can someone confirm that the shaft log outside diameter is 2.5″. My recollection is hazy and I’m not near the boat. I do know that the prop shaft is 1.5″.

      Thanks

Hey Dan, just got down there and measured with a 6″ pair of calipers and I came up with just over 2 5/8″ That dimension is at the furthest aft part because my PSS shaft seal is on.

Taking what comes as I get it, using it all as much as I can and trying hard to leave all the shit behind.

Thanks Ken!  After your post I called the PSS people about whether I should go with a 2.5″ or 2.75″ shaft log unit.  They assured me that their 2.5″ unit will comfortably stretch to fit a 2 5/8″ shaft log.
Here in the Sandwich Isles, many things have to be ordered.  Have to have all pieces in the same place at the same time to minimize yard days.
