one article I saw on the 424 said the one of the down falls was the cockpit scuppers were to small has anyone ever had any problem with the scuppers being to small or not draining fast enough with a following sea wave ? 😥
I have never had a problem and I was just wondering if this was over fussing

Pardon my tardy reply. Rather than worry about cockpit drain size. You should not cockpit hatches do close cockpit from the hull interior – there is a triangular gap at either end of each seat hatch.
My solution is plywood covers which can be screwed down to the hatch lip in threating seas. They are stored in the underside of the hatch covers.
