Site AdministratorKeymasterI’ve been using St Brendan’s Isle and have only experienced really good things.
My 530 is in southern GA, and I happily send my mail via scanned emails to my email address.

Site AdministratorKeymasterCongratulations on a safe passage! Seems like our 424s are pretty capable cruisers. Do you have a trip report you can share?

Site AdministratorKeymasterAll,
I’m looking for your suggestions on content for these two guides. Anyone have ideas? I can start a few thoughts but I really need your input.
Thoughts?
Also, I’d like to thank the sole additional supporter for our site. We’re still about $210 short of our objective for the year. Any support is really appreciated (and helpful!)
Thanks!

Site AdministratorKeymasterStack or block where the ballast is to the forward part of the keel. Unless you’ve had a pretty expensive and messy repair done to the aft part, you’ll have the full weight of the boat on an unsupported fiberglass layup. No Bueno!
Many have found to their dismay that this is a weakness. I have just added about 15 layers of biaxial glass and epoxy to the bottom of my keel, from the inside and the outside, so I am ok for the moment, but I will be glassing in a structural component or two as my refit continues.
For reference, I could see right through the bottom of my keel – six photos attached! Some in progress, one with the bulk of the internal glassing done, and one with the exterior rear keel showing how we blocked it to get under there.
