ParticipantThanks for the reply. Bob and pete, what are the actual dimensions of your tanks, and what is your asking price?
Also how did you put the tank in the bilge?
Thanks for your help

ParticipantEric, our ketch rig has mainsheet attached to stern pulpit. It appear to have very little load at 20 knot winds, so your idea should be fine if davits are sound. Do you have roller furling mizzin mast?

ParticipantYes I am running into the same problem as Joe. The entryway through the bulkhead into the V berth is very tight. It looks like I will have to bring the cushion outward to make room for this vent. How do John’s and Rick’s boats deal with this? Is the vent 4″ going forward and 6 ” going to aft cabin.
Also I have the Mermaid unit and it made the CO detector go off in the middle of the night. On the second night it did it again with 3 ports open.
Thanks for the advice

ParticipantThanks for the tip. Starboard and pvc sound like good ideas for materials to use. Currently the boat has 2 2000 gph pumps, and I was currently thinking about adding at least 1 more pump. Is this enough?

ParticipantI just bought a Pearson 424 and am currently reworking the bilge pumps. I have used trailer connectors on previous boats without any problems. I wonder how are you going to set up your pumps and what material are you using as a platform.
